From Dartmoor, England
Minton Pure Spring Water begins as rain falling on the vast unspoilt and protected moorlands of Dartmoor in Devon, where gentle filtration through numerous layers of rock over the centuries, emerges as a pure and natural spring in the picturesque and secluded valley at Torpeek.
The history of our pure spring water hails from the days of Count Mortain, half brother of William the Conqueror. It is said that he discovered a bubbling brook whilst gathering information for the Doomsday Book.
A Purely Natural Taste
The natural taste of this pure spring water continued to be enjoyed for many years, and at the time when the estate was owned by the Speaker to Elizabeth I's Parliament, local legend has it that the Pilgrim Fathers quenched their thirst on the estate whilst travelling to Plymouth.
Centuries later many still enjoy the refreshing taste of this water, now bottled at our factory in Torpeek, Devon. It can be found on the tables of many fine establishments, where it is the ideal choice, deliciously complementing any occasion.
